A simple pair of bookshelf powered by an AV Receiver ... yupe, its a Yamaha AV Receiver RX-V861.
Decent enough power for my Usher S-520 bookshelf speakers. A very easy going pair of speakers, overall neutral character, unbiased tonal balance ... ain't VERY expensive for a pair of NEW speakers.
Usher = numerous award winners for their products, too bad i only can afford their entry level speakers and my cottage only can cater to that ... size
Piano Black finishing ... beautiful, smart-looking with the transparent 5" cone really worth the penny. Solid built and quite heavy.
Transparency in the high notes really ear-catching, warm-enuf vocal and bass is worthy to mention for that size of bookshelf

Gosh ... seems like its been ages since i started my HiFi journey, and then continue to AV and with PC functional capabilities and MONEY splashing adventures ...
